Job Search Journal - 5/8/24

I received the rejection email. That job should have been mine. I had the right qualifications and so much experience to share. I could tell the examples I was sharing were on point and interesting to the recruiter. I could see her writing down some of my ideas. So why? Because they want to hire someone who has cpg industry experience. Bummer. I know the space. But more importantly, I have the skills that could be leveraged for the work, and I am highly motivated. Plus…wait for it…I can bring new ideas to the table. I think the right company will recognize that and I am hopeful that I will find them, or they will find me.
